Our income has been achieved by donations and fundraising and with this kind help from our supporters we have been able to sustain the charity and fund research. The Myositis Support Group has to date received no funding from Government, National Lottery, or Pharmaceutical grants.

All donations, whether large are small, are important to the Support Group.

Our funds are limited so we are currently unable to fund large scale research ourselves but we have been able to fund many projects and some of these have been awarded further increased funding from larger organisations.

Our philosophy is to light the pilot light!
