Regular donating

Thank you for deciding to make a regular donation to the Myositis Support Group to help our work.

You can make a regular donation online or by completing a standing order mandate and returning it to us by post. If you are in employment and a UK taxpayer you may prefer to make a regular donation through Payroll Giving.

Online at

Donations made online at either Just Giving or the Charities Aid Foundation website are through secure servers. A 5% deduction from your donation is made by Just Giving and CAF to cover all administration costs including credit card processing fees. Details of terms and conditions can be read on their respective sites.

Standing order mandate

A standing order can be set up to make regular donations. These can be monthly, quarterly or yearly payments of any amount.

Please print off, complete and return the Standing Order Mandate to;

Make your donation worth almost a third more at no extra cost to you

If you are a UK taxpayer and you instruct us, we can reclaim the tax you’ve paid on your donation and your donation will be worth more to the Myositis Support Group.

For every £1 you donate we can reclaim can extra 28p
A £10 donation once the tax is reclaimed is worth £12.80
A £20 donation once the tax is reclaimed is worth £32
A £50 donation once the tax is reclaimed is worth £64

For us to do this you must declare that you wish for your donation to be reclaimed under the Gift Aid scheme.

If you are donating on either of our secure online servers there is a box for you to tick.
If you are sending a donation by cheque or returning a Standing Order Mandate form please print out, complete and return the Gift Aid declaration form.

The additional money is reclaimed from the Inland Revenue and does not cost you anymore than the original donation you made. For your donation to be processed under the Gift Aid scheme you must pay an amount of income tax or capital gains tax at least equal to the tax we will reclaim on your donation (28p for every £1 you give) in that tax year.
