New patient telemedicine survey

The Covid-19 Global Rheumatology Alliance is running a new patient telemedicine survey which Myositis UK is inviting members to take part in.

The patient telemedicine survey is for adult patients with a rheumatic disease or the parents/caregivers of a child with a rheumatic disease.

The survey hopes to assess the experiences of patients who use telemedicine (video or phone) for their rheumatologic care during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Details identifying you will not be asked in this survey and your responses will be confidential.

What is telemedicine?

Telemedicine is the exchange of medical data by telecommunications technology allowing a patient’s medical problems to be evaluated, monitored, and possibly treated while the patient and physician are physically remote from each other.

How will my contribution help?

Responses from this survey will help the Alliance further understand needs and satisfaction with telemedicine and spur further research to improve care.

Members of Myositis UK have already taken part in a previous study by the Alliance on patient experience, and we hope many of you will once again be able to offer your insight.

By taking part you are helping the Alliance to try to better understand the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic for patients with rheumatic disease. Thank you!
