About our research
Myositis UK funds research to improve diagnosis and treatment of the rare group of diseases known as the inflammatory myopathies.
This includes dermatomyositis, juvenile dermatomyositis, polymyositis, inclusion body myositis (IBM), and myositis antisynthetase syndrome.
Although a small charity, we have been able to fund significant research over the last thirty years thanks to the generosity of our members and supporters.
Together we are dedicated to funding research to improve the lives of those affected by myositis.
